about
is researcher and author
I work transdisciplinarily, drawing on queer theory, trans studies, postcolonial studies, autotheory, and political philosophy, and engage with body politics, coloniality and property, sexuality, dispossession, relationality, social aesthetics, and social movements. I consider the borderlands between academic, subcultural, and artistic knowledge production as valuable resources to challenge the boundaries of writing and thinking and to imagine other life worlds.
I studied philosophy at the University of Bern and at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, media art at the Zurich University of the Arts, and in 2020 I graduated with a master's thesis entitled Impoverishment of Relation. The Emergence of Proprietary Subjectivity in the Colonial Context the Master in Cultural Studies at the University of Leuphana in Lüneburg.
My current PhD project Queer Commons: Undoing Property Formations in Sexuality is funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ruth Sonderegger at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Member of the working group inter*trans*non-binary of the Austrian Society of Gender Studies (ÖGGF)
Associated member of Collaborative Research Centre TRR 294 “Structural Change of Property”, University of Erfurt and Friedrich Schiller University of Jena
